There seems to be a large number of pictures of Civil War boats/ships that have been erroneously IDed over the years, and I was wondering if anyone out there is keeping a master list of these misidentifications along with the corrected IDs? Some of these pictures have been reprinted numerous times with the wrong names, and it seems like it would be a good thing to have a clearinghouse for the known misidentified pictures.
