I have been reading the Civil War Navies message Board for several months now and I am facinated by the knowledge the individual posters bring. I was wondering if some of the members would share there methods of research. Where do you look for ship's logbooks, diaries, etc.? What sources do you believe every Civil War researcher should have in their personal library? What internet sources contain credible and documented information?
