Terry,

I hardly look at the uk site unless it's pointed out to me, like you have done. I may add though Terry your not giving credit were its due on the source of the parents of Yonge in your listing. It either came from my article on the site or his relative, but you won't find his parents name under the LDS (unless you had it already) or Alabama claims.

You presume I had most of the crew by 1993 when Marvel looked at my notes. I talk of some of the crew which I had then, which information you now show on your site. This is my material Terry, which you give credit to Marvel and still do despite me proving otherwise in my last posting a month or so back. You are not interested in correcting this error unless I supply you with all my information and sources. Now were have I heard this before, oh yes Marvel. You may have loads of sites Terry, but that doesn't make you king of the castle and that the rest of us are your subjects. I'm not proving myself to you, just to make your name look good on the site. My name will be small in here Terry, but yours is all over your site. It's a bit like a book, the people remember the author not the names in the preface.

Speaking of correspondents Terry, I had one of yours ask me again over Mars, Elizabeth Scott Whipkey. She wanted information on him and McEvoy, the same woman that now claims credit for the Godwin information on your site. She has my information Terry on his date of birth, but the rest of the information on his marriage and place of birth is again wrong. You are again using my information on your site and you just don't care. Check out the Texas State Cemetery site Terry if you need proof. I'm quite happy to leave it there if your are, bit like the Yonge affair really. I hope Mr Lynch at the cemetery doesn't take it personal.

Some of your sources Terry do make me laugh. Chris old for instance claims credit on a number of Alabama men in my home town, but he failed to find one in his own town less than a few miles away from his house. And yet you still give him credit for something I found. Does this not explain Terry why "sharing of information" has been a thorn in my side ever since. I gave my material out in the early days in the hope that the person I wrote to, or vice versa, may help me. But all they did was claim credit for it. I tried publishing it on the advice of my friends, to stop this happening again, and sent it out regardless, not updated and possibly full of errors, in an effort to stop people claiming credit for it. So you go on and look for faults in my work, it because of people like you I sent it out with all its faults.

You mention Simpson isn't he buried in Ormskirk Terry at the turn of the century? I have a newspaper cutting somewhere of it. As to Fripp, you'll have some fun with him Terry. His Royal Naval record has him invalided out in 1856 aboard the Algiers. This same man appears in the census for 1881 as unmarried, despite the fact that his allotment money went to his married wife Sarah Sophia Fripp, nee Powell. They were married Terry in 1857. The Royal Naval Fripp was buried in Norwich City Cemetery in 1903. But did you know there were two Fripps? I had the same problem with Brent Johnston, one born in Ireland one born in Plymouth. Both had served in the Royal Navy. Which one is the real one? I'll leave you with that one Terry.

As to Risien, its up to you to prove the man. After all its on your site, you should check it out before publishing it. You clearly don't otherwise Godwin would have my name attached to it.
You have been doing this a lot longer than me Terry.

As to emailing me, again I haven't received any from you and that is the truth. For all I know you may wish to discuss this matter in public, and I'm quite happy to do so.
