Terry, you posted (14 years ago!) that you had a list of the crew of the USS Bainbridge at the time of its sinking in 1863. I have been searching without luck for that list, because it's possible that my great great grandfather was a member of the crew. I know he was with the Bainbridge in 1844, and his disappearance from any records after 1860 suggest that he may have been killed during the Civil War. If you still have that list, I'd love to see it. Thanks for your attention. John
