I am looking for am image of Lt. Thomas Postell Pelot and additional information to put together a bio. I am the associate researcher for the website NavSource. I have found a low quality image of the ambrotype photo of him in Uniform. He was a very junior officer to other officers having been appointed to the Naval Academy at the age of 15! I could use assistanace in images of personnel of the Confederate States Provisional Navy since I am trying to build a library of photos both of men and ships. I am also looking for more detailed information on the troop movements to Florida resulting in the capture Pennsacola Navy Yard. I know the CSS Oregon moved militia two days prior but I do not believe she worked alone. Drop me a line. I am also passing along information to the Naval Heritage and History Command in my research.
