"Never Caught" is one blockade runner's memoir. The author's full name is Charles August Hobart-Hampden, although he used the non de plume "Captain Roberts." He was an officer of the British Royal Navy who came to America for adventure; after the war he became Admiral of the Turkish Navy during the Russo-Turkish war under the name "Hobart Pasha." It is part of a collection of microfilmed books called The American Culture Series. The book is pretty rare but a good research library might have the film.
