CSN Burials, Augusta, Ga.

In Magnolia Cemetery, Augusta, Ga., is a Confederate section, with 236 burials, with only five being buried as unknowns. The cemetery appears to have been used for men who died either the war or in its immediate aftermath. It does not appear to have been used as a Veterans' Cemetery. The graves are marked with small marble headstone, which give the name and (usually) the State from which the man served.

There are two interments in this cemetery of Confederate sailors, which do not give the men's state. They are:

Jeremiah Lucy, "Navy", Row 2, Grave 27
O. P. Stanley, "Navy," Row 5, Grave 11

The cemetery is under pepetual care, and the Confederate section is meticulously maintained.
