Someday, someone might be hunting for this information? The following was taken from the newspaper "Ohio State Journal" dated August 8, 1863.

"Soldiers who died on the Hospital Steamer "Cosmopolitian", on Her recent trip from Port Royal, South Carolina, to New York City"

"Lieut. A.A. Goodwin, 9th Maine Volunteers, July 27th
Private F. Iceman, 100th New York Volunteers, July 26th
Private E. Daggitt, 7th New Hampshire Volunteers July 26th
Private J.O. Morrill, 7th New Hampshire Volunteers July 29th
Corporal J.M Durgin, 7th New Hampshire Volunteers July 28th
Sergeant O.S. Grogan, Company D., 6th Connecticut Volunteers July 28th
Private Jacob S. Kreesman, 174th Pennsylvania Volunteers July 27th
Private David Nilty, Company D., 62nd Ohio Volunteers July 29th
Lieut. Worcester, 7th New Hampshire, died on board previous to leaving Port Royal Harbor. Died July 26th. His remains were left at Hilton Head Island"
