They are all items from the CONFEDERATE APPLICATIONS FOR PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS, 1865-1867, which were recently placed on the Ancestry.com web site. These are the actual documents that can be opened and read. I have been extracting all papers for Confederate State Navy officers, who made application for these pardons, after the war.
