Does anyone have listings of personnel who served aboard the Confederate blockade runners, during the war?
I have the names of several persons who resided, or died, in Australia and New Zealand, who were indicated to have served on these vessels during the war, and need to verify this data. At least two names of blockade runners are mentioned - the ALLIANCE (which was later renamed the NEW ZEALAND and operated in Australian and New Zealand waters), and the THISTLE. I am unsure if many crew lists, of blockade running vessels, survived, after the war.
