Sorry to respond so late but Saturday's weather knocked my internet service off and I just got it back this morning. Anyway, I found the following image in Leslie's Illustrated and am hoping someone can provide me with further information on which boats this may have been. It claims to have occured at New Orleans/Algiers but I have scene errors in Leslie's before. I also added the supposed image of the CSS Oregon for comparison purposes. I even flipped the Oregon to give an alternate view. The boat in the middle looks similar to the Oregon but the mast appears to be on the wrong side of the funnel. Is it possible this was an artist error?
