Jamie, that could be the "Oregon." It looks like the "Selma" and similar vessels. If you find the source, let me know. A Union force tried to go up the Tchefuncte in late July 1862. A report by Major Frank H. Peck, 12th Connecticut, is in the "OR," Vol. 15, pp. 124-26. He says that on the 27th, "At a point about 3 miles below Covington our farther progress was obstructed by three sunken gunboats, from which the guns have been recently removed." So these vessels did continue to foil the Yankees. Some of the guns from these three gunboats ended up at Port Hudson, and others seem to have gone to Vicksburg.
