Hello all,
I just finished reading the book "Last Flag Down". What a fantastic book. Have any of y'all read it? I thought it was good and was curious about what others thought of it. It was a touching book as well. I felt sorry for Lt. Whittle for never having found his true love again after the war. She, and the "Cause", was all he prayed for and dreamed of. It is sad that at the end of the book when it tells of what became of the Officers, etc, in the postwar years it says he never found her again and never mentioned her again.
