Theodore Texada

Okay Guys,

I've recently received an order for our NARA researcher to search for as many documents, as possible, to compile a service record for one Theodore Texada (nickname "Dumps") who was killed according to the ORN when the "Rodolph" struck a torpedo. This man was from Rapides Parish, Louisiana.

Report of Fleet Surgeon James C. Palmer

We have found limited info for this man, so far. Including a one page report of his death and the service record of a man in the 27th Louisiana Infantry (CS) who acted as a substitute for Theodore Texada. The family thinks this man may have been a "Galvanized Tar".

Anybody have any suggestions or other information on this man?

Thanks for any help.

Jim
