In the early 1990's I was relic hunting in a camp in central virginia and found a large coat button identified as a csn ship button. It has a 3 masted ship with csn underneath. it was photographed and appeared in the North South trader sometime in the 90's. i have only seen one other like it before at civil war relic shows. I was offered $2000 for it sight unseen shortly after I found it, but wasn't interested in selling it at that time. My question now is, does anyone have any idea approximately what value it might have should I decide to sell it or want to put an insurance value on it? Thanks for the help.
