I am reading all these posts with great intrest. I am Gordon Calhoun, a historian and editor for the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, an official U.S. Navy museum in Norfolk, VA. We are the holder of many artifacts from USS Cumberland and are currently working on an operational history of the ship.
