Yes- They were rubberized fabric simular in cut to military long coats of the period. I've seen one, wadded up and petrified, that served as a seat for someone in Florida. It is probably the last one left, most of the others being stuffed into fireboxes to make smoke running into one port or another. Better to have wet skin than holed skin.
