Yeah- The majority of the "Old Navy" vessels seem to sport a moniker that honors rivers, patriotic icons or Indians. As time moved on the preponderance of vessels named took on the names of those that made it up the naval food chain to high rank. The turn of the century (19/20th) saw states and cities naming various classes of vessels.
