An interesting note on this Photogravure by W.H. Overend is that by its location after the funnel we know that the cannon shown sticking out from the Tennessee is S-5, a VII inch double banded Brooke Rifle which was mounted as the stern pivot gun. S-5 is currently undergoing a restoration and remounting and can be seen in front of the Selma City Hall.
