Trying to figure out if I want to buy this book or not. Memoirs of Thomas O. Selfridge. I am particularly interested in the time he served as commander of the Conestoga. This was in the time period right after he sank the Cairo. Anyway, can someone tell me if this book has much historical significance or is it one of those hurrah for me books.
I know Jim has a board set up for books, but figured the naval board would be appropriate for I am looking for. Thanks in advance.
