Hello all,
We have discussed this before and as far as we have detirmined is that the CSS Atlanta sank off Hatteras on the way to Haiti at end of CW.

Now I read that she was built or converted from another ship which had a metal hull. During the conversion process she had like another hull built around her existing metal hull. So that would make her have a double hull right? Do you think that might make her last longer at the bottom of the sea? Man, it sure would be interesting if someone could find the final resting place of the CSS Atlanta!
