I looked through several books I have about operations along the coast of North Carolina and was unable to find any images of Col. Howard.

Does MOLLUS keep a list of images of officers on file somewhere? If not or his isn't among them, then perhaps trying to locate what county Howard was from and checking with the county's historical society might turn something up.
