I had the USS Undine (along with some others) in mind when I wrote the blurb.

I've forgotten, do you know where exactly the Undine was captured and if all its cannons were removed by Forrest's men before it was burned???

I guess the "unique" quality of the Petrel capture is that it was very well documented and we know exactly where it happened.

Several years ago, Art Bergeron (I think) traced down where the Petrel's cannons ended up. Would have to dig through my archives for that info..
