Actually, Isabelle and Bryan, I have been attempting, for many years, to compile a thorough roster of all personnel who served in the Confederate States Navy and Marine Corps, though this is nigh impossible, because of the loss of many, many records, at the end of the war, especially when archival material was destroyed at the evacuation of Richmond, in April, 1865. The first page of this roster can be found at the link shown below, and subsequent page links are shown at the end of this and the following pages. My sources are varied, but I feel that this project will never ever be complete, due to the facts stated previously. It is an ongoing project, as I am still finding a lot of data from many new sources, as well. Sanford is not shown in my list, though that does not mean he did not serve.
