Guess what, I also have one of these buckles, purchased
here in England in the 1960's. for small money.
I also know little about it, I always assumed it was a repro of some kind?

I know that 'Heritageleathercw.com' sell one very similar
as a repro (although the photo is not clear and you cannot
see the back).

I'd be obliged to know if you have found out any more.
