You're always welcome, Pam- I've haven't been to the forts on the panhandle, but I've been to a few places on the Florida Atlantic coast , around Fernandina Beach-Amelia Island that were fortified. In 1968 some fellow got a grant to recreate some Rodman guns for the National Park Service. They are non-firing, being cast out of old engine blocks and scrap. The year of casting is at the bottom of the breech.
