USS Bainbridge.

Is there anyone doing research on the loss of the USS BAINBRIDGE in August, 1863? She went down in a storm with the loss of all on board, except for two sailors (out of a complement of about 100), one of whom drowned himself shortly after. The ORN only includes a dispatch relating to the disaster, but I have come across a list of the personnel on board at the time, from a very obscure source. I believe that this may have been the worst natural disaster to hit a vessel of the United States Navy, during the Civil War years (please correct me if I am wrong on this assumption). Deck logs for the USS BAINBRIDGE exist only up to May, 1863, and I assume that no muster rolls for the vessel exist for the last quarter before her destruction.
