I recently participated in an N-SSA artillery match at which an original 1864 breechloading Armstrong 6 pounder was present- apparently only two of the Armstrong guns of this size were imported during the war.I am extremely curious about this gun- it is very advanced for its' time, shoots well, and is very safe to fire. I was wondering if anyone has any info on these guns manufacture, and possibly importation records as well- Thanks-Barrett
