Thank you for the extensive info. It's difficult to find information for a specific piece of equipment when you don't know exactly what it's called. My friend Sherry and I were the drivers. We did create quite a sensation walking around with our drivers leg guards on... particularly when some realized we were women. Most of the men were gentlemen about it. The "stinkers" I handled by offering to let them take my place. NONE took me up on the offer when they realized you had to "ride" two horses at a time, it was in the mountains and the whole contraption has only the two wheel horses for brakes! That was probably some of the scariest fun I had in a while. I could not believe how incredibly dangerous what we were doing was. The one weekend was enough for me. I was happy to return to my side saddle and buggy. I had nothing to prove and had participated only as a favor to a friend. I will check out the pics you mentioned. Thank you again for your time and attention. Thank you for what you do. Cheryl
PS
I should mention that when we had to make the turn out on to the battlefield, a lot of spectators had their lawnchairs too close. Despite being warned, many refused to give ground and we took out several lawnchairs. Pretty funny.
