Bull Run cannon

Here's a question for you artillerymen: The cannon that signaled the beginning of the Union attack at 1st Manassas July 21, 1861, was positioned above the Stone Bridge, firing towards Shank Evans position on the other side of Bull Run. It was a large 30 lb gun. Abandoned after the Union rout, it was transported down to Occoquan by Wade Hampton's men and used as one of the guns enforcing the Confederate blockade of the Potomac during the fall and winter of 1861-2. The large guns in the Potomac shore batteries were left behind because of lack of transportation when the Confederates moved closer to Richmond in March of 1862. Does anyone know what happened to this gun afterwords? Any suggestions about how to find out?-Thanks-Barrett
