Re: missing service recs. for Brookhaven Light Art

I have an ancestor that I am trying to locate records for: Andrew Jackson Hocutt. He first served with Lumsdens Artillery, from Tuscaloosa AL but at some point probably before May 14, 1863 he was transferred to Brookhaven Light Artillery aka Hoskins Battery---there has to be some records out there somewhere because when his widow Martha Jane Musgrove Hocutt ordered his confederate headstone he recd a headstone that states that it was in fact 'Hoskins Btty, MS' but I have records of Lumsdens but not Hoskins and would really love to know that he was actually in the Battles of Jackson, Mechiansville, ATL or Nashville.

I appreciate anyones help and Thanks
