Army of Tennessee artillery organization

I am interested in the artillery structure of the confederate Army of Tennessee. I would like to hear your comments about organization structure, the artillery officers and what you think of them, the cannon foundries and the supply of ammunition, the quality and effectiveness of the battery commanders. Did the artillery improve time and service? What do you think of the brigade-battery structure verse the artillery battalion organization? What held back the western artillery service?

Long interested in the western artillery in the confederacy and long wondered about their poor performance. Suggested reading is;
