Atlanta Siege Line Confederate Field Artillery

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am looking for information on the batteries listed below for the time period from about July 23 until August 28, 1864. They participated in the portion of the Atlanta siege line located near the Western & Atlantic Railroad eastward to the Peachtree Road.

Barrett's Missouri Battery
Barry's Lookout Tennessee Battery
Jeffress' Virginia Battery
Bouanchard's Pointe Coupee Louisiana Battery
Cowan's Mississippi Battery
Corput's Cherokee Georgia Battery
Rowan's Georgia Battery
Marshall's Tennessee Battery
The men that manned the Six inch Dalgren Gun from the gunboat Chattahoochee

I am looking for accounts of combat, unpublished reports, letters, journals, diaries, and newspaper articles.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Respectfully,
