Can you tell me if Don Lutz's book includes information on the taper of the barrel, in some photo's in appears that the barrel tapers from the trunnions, but one webpage mentions an even taper from muzzel to breach.

I understand that this gun was mounted on the No1 Field Carriage, we intend using the Dxie Gun Works Plans for this unless someone has a better idea.
