Looking for information (other than Musselman's book) about Thornton's Company, Caroline Light Artillery, part of Charles Edward Lightfoot's battalion, along with the Surry Light Artillery (Capt. James D. Hawkin's Battery) and the Nelson Light Artillery, Co. B (Capt. J. Henry Rive's Battery)the Caroline was a field Artillery Company equiped with six (6) 12 lb Napoleons.
