I had the six pounder smoothbore that shot on Saturday. We couldn't come back on Sunday because all my guys were headed to New Market to play infantry. Let me know what's up with that event for 2008. I live about a half hour from there and had a great time. Especially watching Joe Ferguson and his troopers playing polo after the battle on Saturday. And that unscheduled evening tactical was a hoot. I finally found Ben Miller's info and am ordering my limber next week. You can contact him at miller9030@hughes.net. He's near Knoxville. I can tell you one detail about Ben's wheels compared to Steen's. The countersunk bolts that hold the tire to the wheel were 7/16 back in the day. Ben's are accurate. The wheels Steen uses have a dummy 7/16 nut and threads on the end of a 3/8 bolt. It looks right and is a small detail but I just thought I'd point it out. Hope to see you in the summer.
