I have been attending the grayling artillery match for many years. The last event was the last weekend in July. Anyone interested in some pics of the event including what civil war artillery does to ground and trees just ask. I used to shoot a 3 inch ordinance rifle in the event. The event is featured in the History Channel's documentary "Artillery Games' that you can buy on the web. Excellent event at targets out to 1200 yards for the rifled artillery and 700 yards for mortars. I would reccomend attending this event for anyone.
